Slovenia is the only nation in Europe which combine the Alpine and Mediterranean worlds, the Pannonian plains and the karts world. The variability of the landscape never ceases to amaze you. So you can admire the sea while on the other side your eyes embrace the mountains. AT every mile of the Slovenian coast, a surprise is waiting for you. Here is a natural reserve, with thick layers of marl and sandstone with the single cliff of Strunjan that stands and reaches even 80 meters above the sea. The cliff is the highest flysch wall on the entire Adriatic coast. Here are the salt flats of Secovlje, already mentioned in sec. XIII. Near the salt flat, more than 150 species of birds place their nests. The town of Piran (Piran), Isola (Izola) and Koper (Koper) invite you to their look of medieval towns, Portoroz, equipped with the marina and the airport for sport airplanes, spa and the casino, and in the summer with a wide selection of various events.
