On board of Armenistis, Alimos Marina
|
We rented the Armenistis sailing boat at Alimos Marina and sailed for a week (Egina, Poros, Hydra and Sounio).
The Alimos Marina is a huge marina, with hundreds of charter boats. The mooring places are good enough to leave and enter the marina. Alimos Marina has a direct bus from the airport and metro to Athens city center.
To refuel, you must call a tank that goes to your place. Nice feature, when returning from vacation, because you don’t have to stay in a line to refuel. We spent 100 liters. The fuel price is not so good (around 2,00 € per liter, for diesel).
The check-in and checkout were easy with the charter company, but the boat could be better prepared. The cleaning was not so good, the sailing cables were a mess, and there was no water in the tanks.
The overall experience was excellent.
