Never again Sunsicily!
Marenauta was friendly. The boat was OK but the anchor winch was faulty. Sunsicily at Portorosa was unhelpful and unfriendly. The Aoelie are lovely.

First forty not designed for cruising
This boat is designed for racing with a crew not for cruising. It has no protection from the elements and the cockpit design is for a minimum of 2 crew. Many things on the boat did not function properly and I could never recommend this boat for a relaxing holiday.

Hello, I'm sorry for the client's complain. Actually, the first 40.7 is a really sporty boat, it's the most used boat for regattas. People who book this kind of boats, usually know the model and book it for this reason. The boat is perfect as a sporty boat and really appreciated by people who like this kind of boat. If Mr.Brown looked for a more comfortable cruising boat, then he should have booked an oceanis 40 instead of the first 40.7. Magic Aeolian (Except Sunsicily!)
The Aeolian Islands are simply stunning, for the hospidality of the Sicilians, for the goodness of local products, for the magnificent and unique natural environment in which they are embedded. 7 islands, all different, each with its own peculiarities to be discovered and enjoyed. Not even the incompetence and lack of professionalism of the charter Sunsicily were enough to spoil the unique emotions that this holiday has been able to give to my crew.

Eolie, sole, mare e vento
L'esperienza in vela alle Eolie è andata oltre le aspettative. Ogni isola è differente per paesaggi, caretteristiche e cultura. La navigazione e in particolare l'ancoraggio nelle baie è stato piu semplice del previsto, nonostante i fondali profondi perchè si trovano baie con i fondali opportuni oppure campi boe nelle isole piu esterne.
Siamo stati alle Eolie per la prima settimana di Luglio.
Abbiamo avuto non pochi problemi in barca che avrebbero potuto rovinarci la vacanza: tender che perdeva aria, rottura del punto di scotta della randa, perdita perno della plancetta elettrica (che ne ha limitato l'uso e che noi ci siamo ritrovati a riparare). Ma nel complesso devo dire che consiglierei a chiunque la società di charter per la prontezza, disponibilità e correttezza dimostrata. Vi sono venuti incontro per le riparazioni e in costo della riparazione della scotta é stato onesto.
Ripeteró l'esperienza con loro, seri ed affidabili.
Direi ottima specialmente sui servizi in Marina, consegna della cambusa sino alla barca, servizio ristorante e ritorno.

Abbastanza bene
La barca era un po’ vecchiotta, ma tutto sommato andava bene.
Il personale è abbastanza disponibile anche se abbiamo avuto qualche problema con i pagamenti visto che non accettano American Express e non hanno il pos con il contactless (ormai nel 2022 la maggior parte delle persone ha la carta inserita nel telefono, quindi il contactless è altamente consigliato).
Partenza difficile con qualche problema poi risolto, nel complesso esperienza più che positiva!

Navegando Islas Eolicas
Bonita zona para navegar no demasiado masificada y con muchos fondeaderos. Pocos puertos y pequeños pero suficientes. Salvo una noche no tuvimos problemas en encontrar atraque sin reservar previamente. Vale la pena hacer turismo por las islas.
Un grupo de amigos estuvimos navegando por las islas Eolias.
Bonita zona para navegar con bonitos fondeaderos. Puertos pequeños pero bien situados. Solo por navegar junto a Stromboli y verlo en actividad vale la pena ir. Alquilamos en Portorosa.
Eolie islands are fantastic. Marenauta made it possible. I even received a free last minute upgrade; 3 fts longer sailboat and 2019 instead of 2016.

Gentile Cliente, ci dispiace che non abbia gradito la nostra conosciuta ospitalità e disponibilità. Purtroppo la sua ora passata sotto il sole non è a noi dovuta in quanto il transfer da lei riservato, non con noi, vi ha lasciato all'entrata del villaggio e non presso i nostri uffici che sono chiaramente indicati nella documentazione inviata per email a conferma della prenotazione. In merito ai consigli sulla navigazione le diamo atto che al check in non siamo scesi nei dettagli solo perché ci ha comunicato che non era la sua prima volta alle Eolie anzi avendo dei parenti in zona conosceva bene l'area quindi non volevamo apparire pedanti. Ci dispiace inoltre che l' impegno profuso dal nostro Staff per la soddisfazione dei nostri clienti cercando di consegnare le barche con la minima attesa possibile non sia da lei stata colta. Saremo lieti qualora volesse ritornare a trovarci, attraverso il nostro partner Marenauta, di poterla far ricredere sulla percezione che ha avuto sulla nostra accoglienza

Una barca da sogno. Perfetta in ogni dettaglio. Il personale che ci ha accolto è stato gentilissimo è disponibile. Straconsigliato.
Le Eolie sono uno spettacolo naturale che toglie il fiato.
Ogni isola è una nuova scoperta, colori, sapori, profumi e angoli unici.

Vacanza alle Eolie fantastica
Ho navigato in barca a vela alle Isole Eolie le prime due settimane di luglio. In due settimane abbiamo girato in lungo e in largo tutte le 7 isole dell'arcipelago, esplorandone oltre alle coste anche l'entroterra, ricco di tradizioni, di spettacoli della natura unici e di prodotti tipici sensazionali. Vacanza davvero consigliata a tutti: sole, tempo stabile, vento ideale per navigare in sicurezza e divertendosi, rade e ancoraggi da favola, cibo e accoglienza unici! L'imbarcazione che abbiamo noleggiato (un Beneteau Oceanis 473), nonostante fosse un po' datata, dopo qualche problemino iniziale (al salpa-ancora e al circuito del gas) che abbiamo risolto velocemente con l'assistenza del charter, si è dimostrata sicura e ben attrezzata e ci ha regalato ottime soddisfazioni nella navigazione.

La barca è stata refit nel 2016 : le condizioni generali erano buone ma mi aspettavo qualcosa di più.
l'organizzazione della sunsicily non è stata del tutto soddisfacente in quanto hanno preteso pagamento di skipper, biancheria, pulizia finale e fuoribordo in contanti. Inoltre cercarli nella marina di Portorosa è stata un impresa.

Traumurlaub in bizarrer Landschaft
Portorosa ist ein idealer Ausgangshafen um die Liparischen Inseln mit dem Segelboot zu erreichen. Das Revier ist sehr vielseitig und gut für einen erholsamen Törn geeignet, weil die Etappenziele nicht weit voneinander entfernt sein müssen und man viele interessante Zwischenstops einlegen kann ohne dass es langweilig wird. Schöne Ankerbuchten und Badeplätze, individuelle Inselstädte, hervorragendes Essen... alles gibt es hier reichlich und es macht Spaß sich hier umzusehen. Wem das immer noch nicht reicht, der kann hier auch gut sportlich Segeln, weshalb wir auch froh um die recht flotte First 40.7 von Sunsicily waren, die wir gechartert hatten.

Vacanza piacevole ma coatellata di difficoltà, difficile trovare ormeggi sicuri, servizi inesistenti o quasi e spiagge rare e affollate, ma come tutte le vacanze in barca a vela sono sempre affascinanti! La barca non vecchissima ma neanche tenuta tanto bene! Prezzi molto alti e qualità discutibili!

Der September war ein idealer Monat um die Äolischen Inseln zu besuchen. Wasser- und Lufttemperatur waren genial warm und super zum Baden. An einigen Stellen auf den Inseln bemerkt man an geschlossenen Läden und Wirtschaften, dass man in der Nachsaison ist. Der Stromboli begrüßte uns mit einem langen, rot leuchtenden Lava-Fluß. Es ein gelungener und mit vielen schönen Erinnerungen verbundener Urlaub.

Questa era la prima volta per la nostra famiglia...e si e' rivelata una delle migliori vacanze mai fatte!!!
L'assistenza da parte di Marenauta e' sempre stata tempestiva e dettagliata, l'accoglienza dell'armatore di ottimo livello, la barca ben tenuta, lo skipper un vero maestro, e le Eolie, non si possono descrivere, davvero splendide, sia dal punto di vista naturalistico, marino, culinario,divertimenti ed escursioni! I nostri bambini (13, 10 e 7 anni) si sono divertiti tantissimo, ed e' stata un'esperienza unica per tutta la famiglia! non ci resta davvero che programmare per il prossimo anno!!!
