Petrcane is a 900 years-old beautiful small fisherman's village, 10 km northwest of Zadar. It is a picturesque little village with stunning beaches, clean sea, fragrant pine trees and Mediterranean climate. It has a gorgeous bay surrounded by two peninsulas – Punta Radman and Punta Skala. Petracne is well situated in the Zadar's region in a natural position at the junction of different geographical regions, easily accessible and attractive destination by sea, land or air. During the 3.000 years of a long historical development, Zadar region has evolved to covering 14 percent of Croatian territory, about 12 percent of the territorial sea with island area of about 580 km and the total number of islands as there are days in a year.
