Great sailing with lots of historic and culinary experience
It was the third sailing trip to Croatia and first to Dubrovnik area,
return trip with short hops from Dubrovnik to Mljet, further Korcula and back.
The area is perfect, weather in the very beginning of June was acceptable for the people from cooler Baltics except few showers, however local food is excellent (do not forget to look at the restaurant and mooring place prices first) and keep the eye on the local fishermen's nets..
We have had the pleasure of sailing the Northern Ionian in an immaculately maintained sailing boat. We were given only the absolutely necessary information, we were not bored with tiresome or bureaucratic procedures and we were send to explore the blue sea and green mountains in a very short time. In our journey we did not meet any obstacle worth mentioning - only beautiful ports and great conditions in the lovely scenery that Corfu, Paxoi, Anti-paxoi, Parga, Syvota and Platarias offer. Our return to Gouvia marina was equally positive with the owner casually chatting us about the journey and promptly sending us off home with a smile.
Compliments to him for his attitude and persona. Compliments to marenauta for making sure we had the opportunity to book his boat.

It was nice
I think it was very good trip.I am sailing teacjer and my customers where very happy. We had enougth wind and sun. Yacht was nice from year 2007. Next time I prefere newer bout.
The holiday cruise went off very well. The voyage itinerary I had chosen worked out exactly as expected. We had little trouble with the boat although it is clearly 'tired'
Due to the internal design of the Trawler 37 I would not charter one again. The cabins for sleeping are far too small, the accommodation lounge is far too big. Where do the crew spend most time? in bed or on deck, not in the 'lounge' cabin so it is wasted and makes the bedroom cabins very cramped. Essentially it was like a small caravan on the sea.
Having said the above we did make the best of it and had a very enjoyable time. Next time a Linsen 32 would be a much favoured option.
The Sun-Turist office staff were the very best of assistance and Daniel Antonia was extremely helpful. Just let us have a different boat!
